{"id":60,"date":"2021-09-03T13:44:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T11:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/20.107.179.91\/blog\/en\/?p=60"},"modified":"2021-12-07T13:49:49","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T12:49:49","slug":"rpp-mechanical-recycling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.itc-packaging.com\/blog\/en\/rpp-mechanical-recycling\/","title":{"rendered":"rPP &#8211; Mechanical recycling."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>All polypropylene sourced from mechanic recycling has been processed by the current waste collection and management systems and, therefore, may only be used in the non food market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These recycled PP container ranges are usually destined for non food market industries such as paint, chemicals, insecticide, pest control, household cleaning or industrial supply product sectors, to name a few, thereby promoting a circular economy and the reutilisation of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our new post-consumption polypropylene containers are manufactured from high quality recycled materials and can be mass produced using our existing manufacturing equipment, including moulds and machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only visible difference is the base colour of the resulting pellets sourced from mixed materials which cannot be used to produce transparent containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than that, these containers are already optimised thanks to their lightweight and easy stackability features. And they are suitable for IML labelling.
