Customised Packaging, Innovation, Reduce, Rethink 13 de January de 2025

Last week, the results of the prestigious World Packaging Awards 2025 were announced, and we are proud to share that our packaging solution for paprika, developed in collaboration with Carmencita, has been awarded the prize for Best Food Packaging. This accolade reaffirms the leadership of ITC Packaging creating innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that deliver exceptional value to both our clients and the food industry at large.

The World Packaging Awards are regarded as the most significant global recognition in the field of packaging, highlighting projects that excel in key areas such as sustainability, functionality, design, and innovation.

As in previous years, the awarded categories spanned various sectors, including food and beverage packaging, cosmetics, and industrial solutions, with over 500 projects submitted by companies from around the world. Among all the proposals, our solution stood out for its exceptional contribution in terms of functionality, design, and sustainability.

Best Food Packaging Award: Innovation in the Service of Consumers

The award-winning packaging was specifically designed to enhance the consumer experience while optimising its environmental impact. This innovative solution, developed in close collaboration with Carmencita, reimagines how spices like paprika are dispensed and preserved, offering a practical and efficient solution.

Key features of the packaging:

  • Enhanced functionality: Thanks to its hinged dual-opening cap, the packaging allows consumers to dispense the product either with a spoon or by pouring it directly, catering to different preferences.
  • Sustainable design: Made from a recyclable monomaterial, facilitating proper waste management through current recycling systems.
  • Reduced carbon footprint: Its optimised structure enables more efficient stacking, reducing the resources needed for transportation and distribution.

This innovative design not only improves the performance of the traditional spice container but also achieves significant material savings and a reduced environmental impact.

A Recognition of Collaborative Work

This award is a source of great pride for our entire team and reinforces our mission to provide packaging solutions that meet the current demands of the industry. It also reflects the success of our partnership with Carmencita, with whom we share a vision of driving innovation and sustainability.

We would like to thank our clients and partners for their continued trust in our solutions, as well as the World Packaging Awardsjury for this recognition.

We remain committed to creating packaging solutions that make a difference, combining innovation and sustainability to contribute to a more efficient and responsible future.
