The trendiest dome

Customised Packaging 22 de December de 2022

The new format developed by ITC for Nad’s gives users a new hair removal experience thanks to a dome-shaped top to keep a practical depilation kit in.

Nad’s is an Australian personal care company that operates in the English- speaking market and it sells hair remo- val products among other things in the retail channel.

The collaboration between ITC and Nad’s has been embodied in a new for- mat, distinguished by its dome-shaped top, which has been especially desig- ned as the packaging of a practical wax pearl kit for faster, easier hair removal at home, which is much cheaper than in a beauty salon, and it has excellent results.

Nad’s has developed its Strawberries & Cream Waxing Dots, which is a concept that makes hair removal a nicer experience.

Nad’s has taken advantage of the incredible potential of the IML decoration to give the packaging a special touch through a cool look that makes the most of the incredible scent and the appealing colour of the wax pearls to give it a youthful twist, instagrammably ready to share on social media. The three IML labels of the packaging highlight the colour of the pearls to make the hair removal experience more fun and less intimidating.

The new dome top has been custom-developed by ITC to keep the whole hair removal kit in, which includes the spatula and the refreshing wipes used to help skin recover completely after the hair removal. A new user experience that makes the most of the functional features of the packaging to supply a handy and practical product ready to be used at home.

The packaging itself is a thin wall injection mould container, which can be completely recycled by putting it in the yellow recycling bin thanks to fact that the whole thing is 100% mono material because it is made of polypropylene. The container is microwaveable, which means that the wax can be heated at home until a nice and easy-to-apply creamy texture is obtained for perfect hair removal.

Recently this new customized container won a Liderpack 2022 Award for the best Health and Beauty Packaging. The Liderpack awards acknowledge the best packaging on the Spanish market and they entitle participants to take part in the Worldstar, the biggest international packaging event.
